Selena Gomez has listed her Los Angeles compound for $6.49 million, TMZ reports.
She purchased the Encino home, at 4626 Encino Ave., for $4.89 million in 2020.
The singer, actress and entrepreneur — who stars in “Only Murders in the Building” and is the founder of Rare Beauty — now lives in a $35 million Beverly Hills home with her husband, the music producer Benny Blanco. The couple got married last September; they purchased the home around the time of their engagement in December 2024.
Before Gomez, this Encino estate had been owned by the late Tom Petty, who built it in 1989.
The personal touches of both artists remain.
The dwelling features floral wallpaper in a “glam” room that reflects Gomez’s creative style. In addition, current or budding rock stars may also appreciate a vocal booth, which may have been part of Petty’s original recording studio.
Petty rebuilt the home in 1989 after his original home burned in an arsonist’s fire, with only the recording studio still standing, according to reports.
The rustic three-story residence is 11,483 square feet and sits on just under an acre in Encino’s Rancho community. It comes with six bedrooms and 8.5 baths.
It all opens to welcoming foyer that leads to a large living room with double-height ceilings, skylights and a two-story stone fireplace.
This floor also features a family room, a formal dining room and a spacious chef’s kitchen with a brick stove.
A main bedroom suite boasts a spa-like bath; there’s also a junior suite with a bedroom.
Hollywood fans may also enjoy the home theater.
Downstairs, there’s also a wine cellar, a gym, a massage room, an office and a kitchenette.
Outside, the grounds include a pool and plenty of entertaining spaces including a cabana with a bar, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen with a covered dining area.
The listing brokers are Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates.
