It’s no secret the Duchess of Sussex is said to be on thin ice with Netflix. She and her hubby Prince Harry signed a MASSIVE deal with the streamer years ago, and while they’ve released some documentaries and her lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, they’ve also experienced a ton of setbacks. Just weeks ago, it was announced that Netflix stepped back from supporting her As Ever brand amid rumblings that the media company was cutting all ties with the couple. One report even claimed the CEO, Ted Sarandos, refused to speak to her unless a lawyer was present!
Now, obviously, that didn’t turn out to be totally true. Netflix just announced they’re working on a new show produced by Harry and Meg. There’s some hope for them to turn this around, but if Meghan and Harry aren’t careful, they could royally screw up their Hollywood careers!

In an effort to ensure her working relationship with Netflix, the Suits alum has reportedly gone WAY overboard by “love-bombing” Ted and his wife Nicole Avant! Sources told Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Tuesday that Meg’s been sending the couple handwritten letters, flowers, and even her jam. You know, the same stuff the businessman doesn’t want to financially back anymore! Is that a gift or a punishment? LOLz! A source dished:
“It’s constant — cards, gifts, deeply personal messages. She’s making sure they feel valued, remembered, and appreciated.”
And this affection isn’t all happening behind closed doors. Amid reports of tension, sources also claim she was showing off an “overstaged” public display of friendship at a recent event. For her, it’s all tied to a “strategic” plan, a source close to the situation said:
“What’s happening off-camera is far more strategic — and far more meaningful. She’s trying to rebuild trust in a deeply personal way. This isn’t transactional — it’s emotional.”
But she might also be pushing them away in the process!! Another confidant explained:
“She knows exactly what she’s doing. It’s charm, it’s calculation — and it never lets up. At a certain point, it starts to grate.”
Yiiiikes.
While everyone agrees that all Meghan’s gifts and even constant check-ins with the couple seem calculated and planned in advance, they’re not sure it’s working to her advantage, one insider shared:
“To some, it comes off as too much — and honestly, it’s not working. If anything, it’s becoming annoying. But Meghan believes it’s necessary. In her mind, this is how you repair — and secure — a relationship.”
Gift giving is a love language! Still, they doubled down:
“She’s not stepping back from this connection. Not quietly — and definitely not without a fight.”
Damn. She’s walking a thin line right now! If only she put all this time and energy into producing the best content she could…
