Jason Lee has signed with Artists First for management.
Widely known for playing the lead role in the Emmy-winning comedy series My Name is Earl, Lee most recently starred as Tripp Morgan, the president’s wayward, younger brother in Shondaland’s The Residence on Netflix.
Lee played the title role, Earl Hickey, on My Name is Earl, which aired on NBC for four seasons and earned him two Golden Globe nominations and two SAG Award noms. He also starred in the TNT series Memphis Beat, produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov, which ran for two seasons. His other television credits include Greg Garcia’s Raising Hope and the NBC/Broadway Video series Up All Night, opposite Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph.
On the film side, Lee made his big screen debut in Kevin Smith’s Mallrats, followed by Smith’s Chasing Amy, for which he earned an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor. Lee also starred in Vanilla Sky and the Oscar-winning Almost Famous for director Cameron Crowe. He also has worked with directors Barry Sonnenfeld (Big Trouble), Lawrence Kasdan (Mumford), Rebecca Miller (The Ballad of Jack and Rose), and Tony Scott (Enemy of the State). Animation credits include the voice of Dave in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise, Syndrome in Pixar’s The Incredibles, and Charlie in Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears.
A former professional skateboarder and recent Skateboarding Hall of Fame inductee, Lee is the co-founder and co-owner of Stereo Skateboards, which he founded with former professional skateboarder Chris Pastras in 1992. Lee is also an accomplished film photographer, with his works having been featured in multiple group and solo exhibitions, magazines and books.
