United Agents Opens Unscripted Division With Nick Mohammed & Paloma

UK agency United Agents, which reps the likes of Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed, singer Paloma Faith and TV presenter Kate Garraway, has opened an unscripted division.

Garraway’s rep Matt Nicholls will run the divison and he has hired ex-Mirador agent Holly Hirsch, a specialist in digital talent.

The division will serve talent like Mohammed, Faith, Garraway, Steph McGovern and David Olusoga, all of whom appeared in the recent, top-rated Celebrity Traitors on the BBC. It hasn’t signed any new clients yet but plans on signing talent and hiring more agents, and will work for now with existing talent to develop and package projects. Other talent in the division includes The Traitors winner Stephen Libby, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! runner up Tom Read Wilson and Harry Trevaldwyn, who starred in the UK remake of Call My Agent!.

Nicholls said: “This is a natural evolution for United Agents, we’ve long represented talent who thrive in unscripted and entertainment formats, and this new division allows us to formalise that work and build on it with even greater focus and ambition. UA’s new division will work closely with broadcasters, streamers, and production companies to develop and package standout projects, while also nurturing the next generation of creators and presenters.”

In 2024, United rival Curtis Brown launched an unscripted and entertainment division with the likes of Bradley Walsh, Richard E Grant and Sue Perkins.

United’s clients include Kate Winslet, Olivia Colman and Tom Hardy.
