Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made it into the rumor mill yet again this week — This time, with claims that the lovebirds purchased a 10 percent stake in 2026 Kentucky Derby race horse, The Puma.
However, our sources confirm Swift and Kelce, both 36, do not have any ownership interest in this horse at all.
The bunk rumor surrounding Swift and Kelce’s potential interest in the horse race contender started online earlier this week. Though, the rumor eventually took flight among Swifties thanks to some pushing by Michael Lavarone, a co-owner of the horse.
“Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are now 10 percent part owners of Kentucky derby entry The Puma,” one account wrote via X on Monday.
Lavarone later added fuel to the fire when he followed up the tweet with a message shared to his Instagram Story.
“OK people. Everyone asking me if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are partners on The Puma… all I can say is I signed an NDA, so I can’t confirm or deny,” he wrote, per Fox News.
Still, the “Swift Effect” has already had an impact on the Kentucky Derby odds board thanks to the online buzz.
According to the outlet, the Puma opened at +1000 on the morning line earlier this week, ranking fifth on the odds board. His original chances were eyed at 10-1.
But, thanks to the social media buzz surrounding the horse and Swift, the Puma jumped to a +350 favorite on Wednesday. As of the timing of this report, his current position sits at +800.
The 2026 Kentucky Derby is set to take place on Saturday, May 2.
The “Opalite” hitmaker, who is reportedly set to tie the knot with her NFL star fiancé this summer, also found herself the focus of another online rumor this week as fans suspect she could be involved in the upcoming “Toy Story 5” film.
Fans began to speculate the pop star’s potential involvement in the animated movie after a “Toy Story” themed countdown clock was briefly posted on her website.
She also appeared to drop a hint with her Monday outfit choice, when she was spotted wearing the same colors as the film’s poster.
Photos showed the singer wore a $325 STAUD blue and white pinstripe midi dress, and a pair of dark carmine Christian Louboutin Her in Roma Patinated calf Leather Block Sandals. She accessorized her look with a yellow mini Lady Dior bag.
