President Trump has already made moves to put his name on the Kennedy Center, his face on U.S. coins and his signature on dollar bills. Now, he’s got his sights set on U.S. passports.
Multiple reports today indicate that the president’s visage will be placed on some new U.S. passports in July to commemorate the country’s 250th birthday.
The design includes a picture of Trump surrounded up top by the text of the Declaration of Independence and below by the American flag. His signature appears in gold above the words “United States of America.”
The photo and decorations will reportedly appear on one of the inside pages of new passports. It is unclear whether these pages would be “stamp” pages.
The design will be a “limited edition,” and only available to those who apply for passports in person at the Washington Passport Agency.
