‘The Umbrella Academy’ Actor Tom Hopper Signs With UTA

EXCLUSIVE: UTA has inked actor Tom Hopper for representation in all areas. 

Hopper is best known for his turn as Luther Hargreeves in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, on which he stars opposite Elliot Page. Since its premiere, the series has consistently ranked among the platform’s Top 10 TV shows.  

Other recent credits for Hopper include Dark Wolf and The Terminal List prequel for Amazon starring alongside Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch. He will reprise his role of Raife in Season 2 of The Terminal List.

On the feature side, Hopper recently starred in the romantic comedy Space Cadet, written and directed by Liz Garcia, opposite Emma Roberts and Gabrielle Union. 

Up next, Hopper will star in Justin Chadwick’s movie The Mark opposite Jessica Alba, as well as in the independent feature Better, which he produced via his Pine Tree Productions. 

His past film work includes leading roles in Netflix’s Love in the Villa opposite Kat Graham, the previous Screen Gems Resident Evil reboot opposite Kaya Scodelario, and Millennium/Lionsgate’s The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard alongside Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. He also starred in Netflix’s spy thriller SAS: Red Notice appearing alongside Tom Wilkinson, Sam Heughan and Ruby Rose, as well as Tim Miller and James Cameron’s Terminator reboot Terminator: Dark Fate.

 Previous TV credits include HBO’s Game of Thrones Season 7 and a leading role in Starz’s Black Sails opposite Toby Stephens and Ray Stevenson, on which Michael Bay and Brad Fuller served as executive producers.
