Beyoncé was quite literally covered head-to-toe in diamonds at the Met Gala 2026 on Monday night.
The superstar, who served as a co-chair of the night, arrived alongside husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy Carter, fashionably late at around 9 p.m.
The singer was dressed as a sparkling skeleton, wearing a crystal-covered look that was designed by Olivier Rousteing, the former head of Balmain.
But, hidden among the embellishments were some real, natural diamonds by Chopard — and they were certainly jaw-dropping.
She wore the Queen of Kalahari necklace, which features three of the largest-cut stones from a 342-carat rough diamond by the same name.
According to a press release from the brand, the rare stone was so special because it was not only large, but also of near perfect color and clarity. Of the rough, 23 individual stones were cut.
While the three largest stones were set in drop accents that Beyoncé chose to remove from her collar necklace for the evening, her bling still boasts some serious sparkle.

When worn in full, the necklace is estimated to be worth roughly $50 million.
The center stone of Beyoncé’s worn collar measures 6.41 carats, accentuated with an additional 140 carats of diamonds that make up the rest of the piece.
And the bling didn’t stop there.
She added a bracelet that boasted two emerald-cut diamonds that weigh 21 and 14.7 carats each — not to be outshone by the 36.74-carats of diamonds that are also included in the total structure of the wrist adornment.
A second bracelet featured a humungous cabochon emerald valued between 50 and 99 carats, 55.58 carats of marquise-cut diamonds, 16.08 carats of round-cut diamonds and 10.79 carats of pear-shaped diamonds.
As for the earrings? She wore not one, but two pairs of diamond hoops — one totaling 13.45 carats, and the other 3.77 carats.
If you were keeping count, that’s more than 300 carats of diamonds that were somehow hidden among her skeletal crystals.
Inside the party, Beyoncé changed completely, forgoing both the jaw-dropping necklace as well as her Olivier Rousteing dress.
Instead, she changed into a darker embellished Robert Wun Couture gown, complete with a veil, that was covered in celestial crystals.
