The Damned announce 50th Anniversary ‘Final Damnation' 2026 UK tour

The Damned have announced details of a ‘Final Damnation’ UK tour, which will celebrate 50 years since their formation.

The tour is set to kick off towards the end of 2026, and will see the legendary line-up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Paul Gray, and Monty Oxymoron come together to mark their 50th anniversary.

Looking back at how they helped ignite the fuse of the British punk explosion, the band will be breaking out their biggest hits from across their discography during the shows, and joined by Australian punk pioneers The Saints ’73-’78 as special guests.

In total, there are seven new shows taking place, kicking off at Brighton’s Dome on November 25 and continuing at the new British Airways ARC venue in London two nights later (27).

Other shows include stops in Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle and Derby, before wrapping up in Birmingham on December 5.

“Half a century on and who’d have thought we would still be upright and breathing? We never thought we’d make it this far and neither did you,” said Rat Scabies. “But here we are, a finely tuned engine. The Damned still has the power and finesse to excite, entertain and accelerate into our 50th year.”

Captain Sensible added: “With 50 years of catalogue to choose from, only the best songs from our chequered history will be performed, and with the passion and commitment all good music lovers deserve. You know we won’t disappoint.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday (May 1) at 10am BST. Visit here for tickets and more information.

The announcement of the new tour comes following the punk pioneers playing a 50th Anniversary show at the OVO Arena Wembley earlier this month, and also releasing a covers album titled ‘Not Like Everybody Else’.

That album was described by the band as combining their “signature punk energy with the whimsical, kaleidoscopic spirit of the original[s]”, and included a cover of Pink Floyd‘s classic song ‘See Emily Play’.

Each track on ‘Not Like Everybody Else’ was carefully curated by the group, and came as a personal and celebratory tribute to Brian James and his influences, following the musician passing away in March last year.

As well as their tour at the end of this year, The Damned have also been added to the line-up for Bearded Theory 2026, which takes place in Derbyshire next month.
