Telemundo is sticking with its proven franchises and familiar faces for its 2026-27 programming slate, which includes El Señor de los Cielos Season 10, La Reina del Sur Season 4, soccer, La Casa de los Famosos, and its first Christmas movie.
The network notes that it approaches this Upfront season as the fastest-growing Spanish-language network in weekday prime, the most-watched in daytime and Sunday prime, and the leader in digital audience and social media engagement.

Telemundo will start the new season delivering all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup across Telemundo, Peacock, Universo and all their digital platforms.
As part of its continued evolution, Telemundo is expanding into film for the first time with the debut of its original movie La Vida Ideal, marking a new chapter in the company’s storytelling strategy. As the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Telemundo Deportes continues to lead as the premier destination for global sports in the U.S., delivering the biggest events in fútbol and beyond with unmatched scale, access and cultural relevance. The tournament, set to take place across the United States, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19, 2026, will be the largest in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches. Telemundo will present more than 700 hours of original live coverage, with all 104 matches available live across Telemundo, Universo, Peacock and the Telemundo App, supported by a fully live on-site presence at every match and an expansive multiplatform production footprint.
