EXCLUSIVE: TaleSphere Studios is developing The Vault, a teen-focused live-action anthology series that will be made in tribute to Stan Lee — the visionary behind Marvel Comics, who passed in November 2018.
Created and licensed under the Stan Lee brand, the show will reflect his legacy of heart, imagination, and empowerment — his passion for storytelling, boundless creativity, and belief in the hero within us all — exploring a diverse range of stories inspired by Stan’s many unpublished ideas.
“In honoring Stan Lee, we hope to encourage and entertain a new generation,” said TaleSphere CEO Carla Woods. “Stan Lee’s storytelling has always been rooted in the idea that anyone can be a hero, no matter where they come from. With The Vault, we’re building a series that channels that spirit for a new generation — stories that are imaginative, emotionally grounded, and reflective of the world young audiences are navigating today. It’s an opportunity to honor Stan’s legacy in the creation of something fresh and current.”
As part of its development process for The Vault, TaleSphere will engage an advisory board of six teenage influencers, bringing a direct line to the audience the series is designed to reach. Those involved are Kaido Lee Roberts, Ava Clements, Leah Clements, Sydney Thomas, Brooks Harvey, and Ellarose Kaylor.
Launched by AETH Entertainment and Kartoon Studios last December, TaleSphere Studios is a live-action studio focused on developing premium content for youth and family audiences. Among its announced titles is Real Santa, based on the bestselling novel by William Hazelgrove.
