‘Spider-Noir’ Trailer Gives First Look At Nicolas Cage’s Spidey P.I.

Nicolas Cage‘s Spider-Man Noir has stepped out of the shadows in a sneak peek at Sony Pictures Television’s Spider-Noir.

On Saturday, MGM+ and Prime Video debuted the first trailer for Spider-Noir at CCXPMX26 in Mexico City, where stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Jack Huston and Karen Rodriguez were in attendance, along with creator and co-showrunner Oren Uziel.

Keeping with the noir aesthetic, the trailer was made available in both ‘Authentic Black & White‘ and ‘True-Hue Full Color‘, ahead of the show’s May 25 premiere on MGM+’s linear channel and May 27 global rollout on May 27.

Following a video greeting from Cage, fans were treated to an extended scene from the eight-episode series, which also stars Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez and Brendan Gleeson.

Based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, the show stars Cage as down-on-his-luck private investigator Ben Reilly, the only superhero in 1930s New York City, who must grapple with his past life after a deeply personal tragedy.
