First-time Saturday Night Live host Colman Domingo has some qualms about what’s being pitched for his debut on the NBC show this weekend.
“Is it too late too late to switch to SNL UK?,” he wonders as cast member Veronika Slowikowska offers up one lame sketch idea after another. “Maybe,” Domingo ponders, “if I tell someone she tried to kiss me she’ll get fired.”
The inner monologue continues. “This is so annoying,” Domingo says, “and that’s coming from someone who spent his whole life around theater people.”

Two-time Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Domingo makes his SNL hosting debut April 11. He’ll be joined by musical guest Anitta in her first SNL appearance.
Domingo will next be seen in Netflix’s The Four Seasons and HBO’s Euphoria, and as Joe Jackson in the upcoming Antoine Fuqua-directed Michael Jackson biopic Michael.
The Grammy-nominated Anitta recently released the single “Pinterest” from her upcoming album Equilibrium.
