Better late than never.
Rihanna showed up to her best friend Melissa Forde, known as M Dollas, birthday party in the wee hours of Monday morning.
We hear the bash at Pergola, a Mediterranean restaurant in Nomad, raged from Sunday night till 3AM in the morning, with the “Umbrella” singer making a late hour appearance.
“Rihanna came at around 2AM in the last hour to surprise her,” says a spy. “She had four or five gift bags.”
Unfortunately, we hear the birthday girl didn’t open anything in front of guests.
The pair met when they were 14 years-old in Barbados.
M Dollas, who is a photographer, is frequently seen with Rihanna. She’s made hat collections with New Era and Opening Ceremony.
We’re told the bash included money printed with M Dollas’s face on it and that Rihanna and guests danced to hits by rapper Sexxy Red.
The “Work” singer’s partner A$ap Rocky was not spotted at the party. According to TMZ, there were about 20 guests and she had bodyguards with her.
