Radial Entertainment Names Matt Katrosar Exec VP, Global Advertising & Partnerships

Radial Entertainment has appointed Matt Katrosar as its new Executive VP of Global Advertising and Partnerships.

Katrosar comes to Radial from Fremantle, where he served as Senior VP of Global Ad Sales and Strategy. In his newly created role, Katrosar will oversee and scale global ad revenue, strategic partnerships, and the development of a unified ad tech ecosystem. HIs mandate is to drive FAST, AVOD , SVOD and TVOD monetization across Radial’s library of more than 70,000 movies and episodes.

“Radial has assembled a library of extraordinary breadth and depth, spanning genres and generations, that lets us connect advertisers with exactly the audiences and content they’re looking for,” says Jeff Shultz, CEO of Radial. “That’s a rare position in this market and, despite the scale of the business, it’s one we’ve barely begun to monetize.”

“I had the privilege of watching Matt convert content scale into market share at CBS, Pluto TV and Paramount,” adds Shultz. “Bringing him in to lead our global advertising is the next step in a winning strategy for Radial.”

“I’m thrilled to be reunited with Jeff at a company purpose built for what’s coming,” says Katrosar. “The free streaming market has achieved real scale and Radial has the platform, data, and momentum to deliver for advertisers at a level this market hasn’t seen. My focus is making sure our advertising partners are the first to capitalize on it.”

At Fremantle, Katrosar built and expanded a global advertising business across streaming, broadcast, social and branded partnerships. He drove revenue growth through strategic packaging, new business development and go-to-market leadership across worldwide teams and accounts.

Previously, Katrosar served as VP of Sales for Paramount Global., where he led streaming and programmatic sales as the platform surpassed $1 billion in annual revenue. His work in the advertising landscape also includes stints at Pluto and 18 years at CBS.

Radial Entertainment was formed last July by L.A.-based Oaktree Capital Management, out of the merger of its acquisitions Shout! Studios and FilmRise brands, which continue to operate as separate brands.
