Patton Oswalt’s New Special ‘Tea & Scotch’ Sets YouTube Premiere Date

EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Patton Oswalt has announced a new special, Tea & Scotch, that’s set to premiere on 800 Pound Gorilla’s YouTube channel at 8 pm ET on Tuesday, June 9.

Presented by Super Nice Guys, the special offers new takes from Oswalt on parenting, living with a cat who sees ghosts, yard cleaning videos, artificial intelligence, and more.

Said Oswalt in a statement to Deadline, “I’ve never felt more overwhelmed, terrified and desperate, so of course my material is the funniest it’s ever been.”

An Emmy and Grammy Award–winning comedian, actor, writer, and producer, Oswalt has been working as a stand-up since the late ’80s. In the decades since, he’s released 10 specials, earning an Emmy for his Netflix hour Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping.

Known to many for voicing Remy in the Academy Award-winning Pixar film Ratatouille, Oswalt has amassed more than 250 credits in film and television. Other notable credits include The King of Queens, Veep, A.P. Bio, and Young Adult, to name just a few.

Next up, Oswalt will be seen starring alongside Jake Johnson and Ben Stiller in Apple’s pickleball comedy The Dink, streaming July 24. Upcoming, he’ll also be seen starring alongside Maddie Ziegler and Rob Lowe in Netflix’s holiday rom-com In a Holidaze, as we told you first last month.

Oswalt is repped by UTA, Independent Artists Media, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
