Paradigm Hires Gil Harari & Jonathan Silverman To Lead New Division

Gil Harari and Jonathan Silverman have rejoined Paradigm to lead a new Physical Production department, marking a full-circle moment for the pair, amid the agency’s expansion in below-the-line representation.

Both Harari and Silverman previously held key roles at Paradigm, where each helped build and shape the agency’s physical production business during earlier chapters of their careers. They’ll be based in Los Angeles.

“Gil and Jonathan are two of the most respected agents in the physical production space, with a proven track record of building elite client rosters and driving meaningful growth,” said Paradigm Managing Partner Andrew Ruf. “Both played important roles at Paradigm earlier in their careers, so welcoming them back in these leadership positions is especially meaningful. Their combined experience, relationships, and vision make them the ideal team to lead this next phase of our physical production business.”

Harari began his career in the Endeavor mailroom in 1999, where he trained in the Motion Picture Literary department under Brad Mendelsohn, Jason Spitz and Steve Rabineau. He transitioned into physical production at the Skouras Agency, quickly rising to agent and building a robust client list across cinematography, production design, and editorial. After subsequent roles at BWCS and ICM, he expanded his business in his first go-round at Paradigm before being tapped to help launch a physical production department at APA.

Harari reps a roster of producers and craftspeople whose credits include major global franchises and award-winning films such as The Conjuring, Aquaman, The King’s Speech, The Imitation Game, Phantom Thread, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle, among many others. Additionally, his clients have risen up to non-writing executive producers on such series as See, The Witcher, Percy Jackson, Wednesday and Mobland.

“Sam Gores and Paradigm have always been good to us, making this return feel like a true full-circle moment,” Harari said. “The opportunity to build something meaningful alongside Jonathan, whose career I’ve long admired, makes this especially exciting. As our industry evolves rapidly, our team will leverage its experience and relationships to become a top destination for production talent seeking true guidance and hands-on representation.”

Silverman’s path to representation began in production before he transitioned to the agency world through the William Morris mailroom training program. He went on to establish himself in physical production at Smith Gosnell Nicholson, where he secured major feature deals for top cinematographers. Silverman was recruited to Paradigm at just 32 years old to co-head the department, where he helped staff projects ranging from Gosford Park, Be Cool and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift to HBO’s The Sopranos, while also helping launch new directors that transitioned from cinematography.

Following his initial tenure at Paradigm, Silverman was instrumental in building Endeavor’s physical production department from the ground up, which became a cornerstone of WME, where he repped cinematographers in deals for films like The Hurt Locker and Quantum of Solace. He subsequently founded Intrinsic, where he focused on both high-end television and features. Other projects he’s overseen deals for include the prestige series Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Westworld, The Boys, Fallout, and Your Honor, as well as such films as Oscar winner Get Out and The Dirt.

Silverman told us, “Gil and I have been looking for the right opportunity to collaborate for years. Reuniting at Paradigm, a place that has been so important to both of our careers, and working alongside such a dynamic group of agents makes this an incredibly energizing moment.”
