Jacey fans! Stay calm! We repeat: Stay calm and don’t lose it yet!
You may know that Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson reunited for the new movie Happy Hour more than two decades after starring as love interests Joey and Pacey on the beloved teen drama Dawson’s Creek. However, they were not only on-screen lovers! They also dated IRL, starting in 1998! Unfortunately, their romance didn’t last long. It ended a year later, breaking all of our hearts! They both went on to marry and subsequently divorce other people. But with both of them single again, could Katie and Joshua be willing to give their relationship another shot? Her recent social media activity is sending Jacey fans into a frenzy over the possibility!!

Last week, Katie posted a pic to Instagram of her arms wrapped around Joshua. She announced in the caption that Happy Hour is heading to the Tribeca Film Festival in June, saying:
“We are so thrilled to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival this June with our film Happy Hours. So many beautiful people worked on this project. And working with Josh again was a dream.”

Fans, of course, can’t help but still ship these two together all these years later! They’ve taken to the comments section to say things like:
“They should be a couple”
“Wish this was a hard launch”

People are naturally thinking right now that Katie wants to date Joshua again! Can you blame them? We would, too!
But unfortunately, fans should not expect another romance between them (for now lol). A source close to Katie and Joshua told TMZ on Wednesday that they are not dating, but the hype around a rekindling is “funny.” Not to all of us! We are once again heartbroken! Ugh!
Although her liking spree is only promo for their upcoming film, which, oddly enough, is about two former lovers reconnecting later in life, we are not giving up hope that Katie and Joshua get back together one day! If it can happen in the movies, it can happen in real life!
