EXCLUSIVE: Nick Babiarz is coming back to Ginsberg / Libby as Vice President, Awards.
The news follows the recent announcement that partner Lee Ginsberg is exiting the firm to begin a career as an independent awards consultant.
Babiarz will start in mid-May, spearheading an awards team that includes Olivia Delgado and Brian Woods. He joins a strong leadership group comprised of Clay Dollarhide, Julie Siegel, Seanna Hore, Robin Finn and Delgado.
“Nick’s enthusiasm and passion for the awards space is unmatched,” Ginsberg/Libby partner Chris Libby said. “We are deeply proud of all that he accomplished at Paramount Pictures and Apple TV +, and are grateful to work with him anew as the company enters a vibrant new era in its history.”
“Returning to Ginsberg / Libby is an honor,” added Babiarz. “The company is a space where excitement and creativity thrive, and I feel privileged to work alongside powerhouse colleagues who value personalized care and client engagement in this competitive awards space.”
Previously, Babiarz was Vice President of Awards at Paramount Pictures, where he spearheaded the awards campaigns for Derek Cianfrance’s Roofman as well as Oscar-nominated films Gladiator 2, Better Man and September 5. He previously worked as an Awards Lead at Apple TV+, collaborating with the Head of Awards and the team on Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon – which garnered 10 Oscar nominations – as well as nominees The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse and Causeway.
Babiarz began his career at the Chicago office of Allied and held subsequent positions at The Weinstein Company, LTLA and Ginsberg / Libby.
