Nicholas Pinnock Joins Lorna Tucker’s Feature Debut ‘Bare’

EXCLUSIVE: Nicholas Pinnock has signed on to join Florence Hunt, Isla Fisher, and Colin Firth in Lorna Tucker’s feature debut Bare

Bare is described as “a visceral coming-of-age survival story set on the streets of London, where a young runaway called Sophie finds her tribe amidst the darkness and begins to reclaim her sense of self.” 

The film is produced by Gillian Berrie (Fuze), Savannah Power (Animol), and Marcus Warren and Christian Moore for Consortium Pictures. The film is executive produced by Pia Patatian and Dimiter Nikolov. Casting is by Des Hamilton (28 Years Later). 

Nicholas Pinnock starred in Jeymes Samuel’s The Book of Clarence and stars opposite Amanda Seyfried in the series Long Bright River for Peacock and Sky. He also starred in Nia DaCosta’s Hedda

Bare is the first feature from The Consortium Pictures, which will finance and produce. Pia Patatian’s sales company, Noora Films, will represent the film for worldwide rights and is set to launch at the Cannes Market. 

The film is being made in collaboration with charitable partners Under One Sky and The Connection at St Martin’s, which work at a grassroots level to support homelessness. 

Seamus McGarvey is the cinematographer. He is fresh off wrapping on Greta Gerwig’s Narnia. Amanda McArthur (Fuze) is the production designer, and Jessica Schofield (Adolescence) is the costume designer.
