Another ransom demand has been sent amid the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case — and the tipper said they’re ready to give up info to the police. So long as they get their payment…
As we’ve been following, after Nancy’s disappearance, it seems like there hasn’t been much police have been able to follow as far as leads. But then, her daughter Savannah Guthrie, came out and said she believed the first ransom note they received was real. Although, no payment ever went through to the tipper despite the fact Savannah and her fam seemed ready to fork over as much as a million dollars for any info.
It seemed strange… And honestly, the tipper seems to think so, too! They sent another note claiming to have information on Nancy — and this time, they’re alleging they SAW HER ALIVE. Omg…
In the note, which was sent to TMZ, they said their offer to hand over all info on the kidnappers in exchange for one Bitcoin is still on the table. In the letter, the anonymous tipster said:
“I Saw her alive with them in the state of Sonora Mexico.”
Sonora is not that far from Nancy’s home in Tucson, so it’s definitely possible this is true! It borders Arizona and parts of New Mexico. Remember, the sender of this ransom note previously sent one in saying they had seen her south of the border. But sadly, just because they saw her alive before, that doesn’t mean they still believe she is. Per TMZ, they have now claimed “she is dead” — they just happened to see her and her kidnappers before she died. Hmm… how would they know she’s dead, though? Did they see the alleged murder too?? Did they hear about it?? It’s not really clear. Regardless, the sender of the note insists they know “where her body is”… awful. This comes right after Savannah JUST returned to the Today Show too… We can’t imagine the roller coaster of emotions she must be feeling today.

The sender of the letter is also pushing back against the FBI‘s hesitance at believing their claims:
“It’s unbelievable that millions have been wasted and yet here I am willing to deliver them on a silver platter since the 11th of february for a bitcoin but I am disregarded as a scam … they are free and the case is frozen but the ego’s remain hot when it comes to me. Arrogance at it’s finest.”
In fact, they’re not even demanding the Bitcoin all at once. They say they’ll gladly accept half a Bitcoin in exchange for their information, and then if it leads to a public arrest, then they’ll accept the other half. They added, too, that they had nothing to do with the “horrific crime” because they have been living south of the border for over 5 years.
At the end of the note, they plead:
“I just want whats fair and to live peacefully with enough to start my life again quietly with out having to join a witness protection program.”
It seems like at this point Savannah and her family would be willing to take a chance and see if this leads them anywhere. Nancy has been gone for over two months, and the case has otherwise grown cold. There’s really no stopping them from following the lead.
We hope the Guthries can get answers soon… What do U think about this new note, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF (below).
