Oscar-winning actor Michael B. Jordan has re-listed his Los Angeles home for $10.49 million, Gimme Shelter has learned.
The eight-bedroom modern farmhouse-style Encino residence was built in 2021 and sits on a half acre corner lot, surrounded by oak and cypress trees.
Jordan paid $12.51 million for the property in 2022, shortly after its construction was completed, and then customized it. And given its new listing price, he’s prepared to take a substantial hit on the sale.
Once named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2020, Jordan is still one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors.
And, like fellow Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio — who lost to Jordan for this year’s best actor Oscar — Jordan is also known, adorably, for bringing his mom as his plus one date to awards ceremonies.
The 39-year-old, who also has his own production company, Outlier Society, beat Timothée Chalamet for best actor at this year’s Oscars. He played the twins Elijah “Smoke” Moore and Elias “Stack” Moore in “Sinners,” directed, written and co-produced by Ryan Coogler — who also directed Jordan in “Creed,” which Coogler co-wrote, and in “Black Panther,” which Coogler also co-wrote and directed.
After getting his start with roles on “All My Children” and then on shows like “The Wire” and “Friday Night Lights,” Jordan moved into film. His upcoming projects include a remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair,” which he will direct and star in. (It’s the second remake of the 1968 film; the first remake was in 1999.)
The gated, three-story mansion is 11,599 square feet. It features a high-tech security system and an elevator.
The residence opens via a 20-foot pivot door. Inside, there’s an open layout with rooms that feature high ceilings and glass walls.
Anchored by a grand chef’s kitchen with custom oak cabinetry and two islands, with one serving as a breakfast bar, the home was built for indoor-outdoor entertaining.
There’s also a main bedroom suite with a fireplace, along with two walk-in closets and spa-like baths — and outdoor space.
Downstairs, there’s a screening room and a temperature-controlled wine cellar, along with a gym.
Outside, the grounds boast an infinity-edge pool and spa, a pavilion and a 1,134-square-foot guest house.
