In a since-deleted post, a person initially accused Meghan Markle’s former BFF, Jessica Mulroney, of dodging her calls after she allegedly hit her parked car. Mulroney has since reportedly responded and offered to pay all damages to the vehicle.
“Thank yall thank yall thank yall. She has reached out and my car will thankfully be covered & fixed 🥹🫶🏾,” the car’s owner, Eboni Morgan, wrote on Threads Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Morgan claimed in a now-deleted message on Threads that Mulroney “hit” her car and initially “refuse[d] to take accountability.” (The posts were deleted after Mulroney reportedly contacted Morgan to resolve the issue.)
“I refuse to let this woman bully me and make ME pay for damages to my PARKED car. Yeah….she did this to a P A R K E D car,” the woman added.
“I reported this to the collision centre already, and they’re not helpful unless I have the plates. If anyone can help, please DM me. If I hear nothing….TIKTOK HERE I COME 🤸🏾♀️.”
The social media user also included an image of the damage to her blue vehicle.
“Imagine @jessicamulroney leaves her number on your car *after* hitting it (almost $4K in damage btw) and then dodges all your messages and calls. Can’t make this up y’all,” the woman claimed.
The Threads user also included a picture of the note Mulroney allegedly left at the scene, as it read: “I’m so so sorry please call me.”
In a screenshot, Morgan attempted to text Mulroney, who read the first message.
“Texted her before I found out it was her (her avi is on WhatsApp) and she’s ghosted me ever since reading my first text,” she claimed. (Mulroney has since reportedly responded.)
Morgan also shared that she contacted the police.
Page Six has reached out to Mulroney’s rep for comment, who told us, “Jessica has spoken to this person directly and this has been dealt with. The post has been taken down.”
The fashion stylist, 46, has been involved in several scandals over the years.
In June 2020, Canadian lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter called out Mulroney for her alleged “textbook white privilege.”
Exeter claimed Mulroney “took offense” when she encouraged her followers to speak up about the Black Lives Matter movement, “wrongly assumed” the prompt was directed at her specifically, and exhibited “very problematic behavior” that culminated in a written threat.
Exeter said she found Mulroney’s silence on social media regarding issues of racial injustice puzzling, considering her close friendship with Markle, 44, who is “arguably one of the most famous Black women in the world.”
After Mulroney initially threatened to sue Exeter for libel, but the marketing consultant later issued an apology, promising to “do better” and give her “microphone to Black voices.”
The scandal placed a wedge between the Duchess of Sussex and Mulroney, who allegedly felt “ditched” by her BFF.
