Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine shared a video of himself singing a breakup anthem shortly after the rapper split from NBA star Klay Thompson.
The hitmaker crooned a non-instrumental version of Jagged Edge’s 1999 track “He Can’t Love U” via Instagram Saturday.
“You should never wanna be with a man if he can’t be a man and do the things to you like I can,” he said. “I’m telling you, he can’t love you like I love you.”
“JAGGED EDGE TOO UNDER8ED @official_je,” Fontaine, 36, captioned the clip.
The “Backin’ It Up” rapper’s fans believed he was sending a cryptic message to Megan, 31, with one writing, “He want her back.”
“It’s the timing for me,” another added, referring to when the video was posted.
“Get ya girl back,” a third chimed in, as another joked, “We see whatchu doing.”
Reps for Fontaine and Megan weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The exes confirmed they were dating in February 2021 and parted ways in 2023.
It’s unclear why they called it quits, but that same year, Megan released her single “Cobra,” in which she sings about catching someone cheating.
Fontaine, however, denied the rumors, insisting he was never intimate with another woman.
“Is hiding text messages cheating on your partner? In that regard, I say [I cheated]. Inappropriate, correct,” he said on Angela Yee’s “Lip Service,” per People.
On Saturday, Megan told Page Six that she had parted ways with Thompson, 36, after almost one year together.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” she said.
That same day, she accused the Dallas Mavericks star of cheating via a scathing Instagram post.
