Lorenzo Lamas breaks silence on ‘amazing’ Heather Locklear as their romance heats up

Lorenzo Lamas gushed over his relationship with Heather Locklear, weeks after news of the pair’s romance broke.

“I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met,” the TV star told Fox News Digital in an interview published Wednesday.

When asked by the outlet if he saw the relationship coming to fruition -— decades after first meeting the “Melrose Place” actress — Lamas said, “The short answer is no.”

Lamas, 68, also told the outlet that his faith helped him find true love with Locklear, 64. “With Jesus Christ in your life, you can accomplish anything,” he said.

“There’s no problem or event or anything that can compare to the strength that you feel when you know you’re following Christ … even in the darkest of times, we always have the Lord to lean on.”

A rep for Locklear did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Wednesday.

Lamas and Locklear first met when the former was starring in ’80s prime-time soap “Falcon Crest,” and the latter was in “Dynasty,” over four decades ago.

In 1983, the duo posed for a Playgirl magazine cover, with the bombshell actress rocking a skin-baring red bikini and Lamas donning an equally revealing black Speedo. Lamas shared a throwback image of the cover via X in December.

In the steamy shot, Locklear stood in front of Lamas as she rested her arm on his bare shoulder behind her.

“I cannot believe that this was 43 years ago! Side note, speedos on request only,” Lamas captioned the upload.

On April 10, TMZ revealed that the couple has been dating since late 2025, celebrating the New Year together with a Las Vegas getaway.

The outlet shared photos of Locklear and Lamas celebrating at Barry’s Steakhouse in the Circa Resort & Casino at the time, where the couple was said to have had a romantic private dinner.

Insiders told the outlet that the couple intended to introduce their adult children to each other — Locklear shares daughter Ava Sambora with ex Richie Sambora, while Lamas shares children A.J. and Shayne with late publicist Michele Smith; daughters Victoria, Isabella and Alexandra, with model Shauna Sand; and Paton with actress Daphne Ashbrook.

Days later, TMZ reported that the meetup had indeed taken place, with Locklear meeting Lamas’ kids over lunch and a movie. A source divulged to the outlet that “everyone had a blast.”

Earlier this month, in a since-deleted X post, Lamas shared another pic from the 1983 photoshoot, showing the pair in an intimate embrace.

“100 years ago. God’s grace is truly amazing. ‘Love is patient, love is kind…It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’ Corinthians 13:4–7,” he captioned the April 14 post, according to Hello!
