EXCLUSIVE: Just for Laughs has announced a second round of shows set for this year’s flagship comedy festival, taking place in Montreal from July 15-26.
Due to popular demand, Jerry Seinfeld has added a second show at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts on July 23rd. Other additions include Dan Soder, Lucy Darling, Chris Fleming, Joel Kim Booster, and Rick Glassman, to name just a few.
As previously announced, this year’s JFL lineup will also include “Weird Al” Yankovic, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Gerry Dee.
“As we continue to expand this year’s lineup, we’re excited to build on the momentum of an already incredible 2026 edition,” said Nick Brazao, VP of Programming & Talent, Just For Laughs. “From emerging voices to established legends, this year’s Festival will be a true celebration of comedy at every level. We look forward to sharing what else we have in store in the weeks ahead.”
Pre-sale tickets for JFL newsletter subscribers go on sale today at 10 a.m. Venue pre-sale opens May 7 at 10 a.m., and public on-sale begins May 8 at 10 a.m.

latest Emmy nominated Netflix projects include Jerry Before Seinfeld and 23 Hours to Kill along
with the highly acclaimed web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Seinfeld has also
starred in, written, and produced movies (Comedian, Bee Movie), directed and produced a
Broadway hit (Colin Quinn: Long Story Short), and wrote three best-selling books (Is this
Anything?, The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Book, and Sein language) and a children’s
book (Halloween). He stars in the Emmy-nominated comedy film, Unfrosted, which he directed,
co-wrote, and produced. Seinfeld continues to perform both nationally and internationally.

Dan Soder

Dan Soder is a stand-up comedian, actor, and radio personality known for his sharp wit, grounded perspective, and effortless storytelling. His recent work continues to gain strong traction: his podcast, Soder, has quickly become a fan favorite, and his YouTube special, Dan Soder: On The Road, continues that momentum, now with more than 4 million views on YouTube. He is currently on the second leg of a 25-city national tour with Outback Presents. Dan will shoot his Netflix special this summer. Sofía Niño de Rivera

Sofía Niño de Rivera is a Mexican comedian, actress, writer, and producer, and a true pioneer of stand-up comedy in Mexico and Latin America. She made history as the first Mexican woman to release a Spanish-language comedy special on Netflix (Expuesta, 2016), followed by a second Netflix special filmed at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City before 10,000 fans (Selección Natural, 2018), and a third on Prime Video (Lo Volvería a Hacer, 2022). Her Prime docuseries Libre de Reír dropped in 2023. Her 2024 U.S. tour, one of the most successful Spanish-language comedy tours of the year, expanded from 14 to 24 cities due to overwhelming demand, selling out iconic venues including The Wiltern in Los Angeles and The Town Hall in New York, with additional dates across Canada and Europe. On screen, Sofía is part of the Spanish-language voice cast for Disney/Pixar’s Hoppers and recently starred alongside Eugenio Derbez in They Came at Night for VIX. She has partnered with global brands including Volvo, L’Oréal, and H&M, and has spoken at TEDx and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C. Overall, Sofía is one of the most exciting and versatile Latin voices working today.
Joel Kim Booster

Joel Kim Booster is a Chicago-bred Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He is best known for writing and starring in Searchlight Pictures’ Fire Island which, following its June 2022 release, went on to land him two Emmy nominations along with a “Best First Screenplay” nom at the Independent Spirit Awards. The multi-hyphenate has also been seen starring opposite Maya Rudolph in the Apple TV comedy series Loot, which premiered its third season in late 2025. He recently lent his voice to Sony Pictures Animation’s KPop Demon Hunters, one of the biggest animated hits of the year which went on to win the Academy Award for best animated feature, further showcasing his versatility as a performer. His first hour-long comedy special, Joel Kim Booster: Psychosexual, exploring his experiences and observations as a gay Asian American male with commentary on identity, sexuality, cultural expectations, and more, debuted on Netflix in 2022. The special was nominated for a Critics Choice Award and named one of the best comedy specials of 2022 by Variety. He also appears in Freeform’s Chrissy & Dave Dine Out, which follows Chrissy Teigen and David Chang, who, along with Joel, cracked the restaurant scene wide open in Los Angeles. Joel can also be seen in a guest star role on the third season of Industry (HBO) and is currently recurring on the Scrubs reboot for ABC/Hulu. Joel also is the host for the new Smartless podcast Intimacy Coordinator, where he and his guests share the messy, surprising stories, experiences and advice that come when people try to connect.

Rick Glassman stars as Jack on the Amazon Original series As We See It, as well as Edward on the ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet. A Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, Glassman’s notable credits include a leading role in Bill Lawrence’s NBC ensemble sitcom, Undateable, as well as playing Harold Ramis in David Wain’s National Lampoon biopic, A Futile and Stupid Gesture. He also wrote, directed, and starred in an award-winning five-episode series, The Sixth Lead, based on his experience starring on Undateable. Glassman can also be seen (and heard) on his weekly podcast, Take Your Shoes Off, whose guests include Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, and Marc Maron.
