Jamie-Lynn Sigler claims ex AJ Discala stole ‘Sopranos’ money during marriage

Jamie-Lynn Sigler claims her ex-husband, AJ Discala, stole hundreds of thousands of dollars she made from the “Sopranos” during their marriage in the early aughts.

The actress admits in her new memoir that when the couple, who were married from 2003-2005, first split, she “hadn’t disentangled” financially from the former finance executive

“I didn’t even know how much money I had or what I was worth,” Sigler writes in “And So It Is,” which came out Tuesday.

According to Sigler, A family friend and accountant took a look at the pair’s finances and allegedly found that hundreds of thousands of dollars was missing.

“The forensic accountant broke down what he believed had been happening,” Sigler writes in the book. “I would be paid a certain amount per episode for ‘The Sopranos,’ and that would go into my corporation account. The next day, a portion of that money would be moved to our joint account for living expenses.”

The “Mob Town” actress claims that a week later, “a much smaller but still sizable amount of that money from our joint account would be moved to a different account that I didn’t have access to or know about.“

Sigler says she still has no idea what happened to the money, but doesn’t care about it anymore.

“That money is a chapter I want closed forever,” she writes.

Years later, Sigler was thinking about the situation when she was offered a “Sopranos”-themed Super Bowl commercial. The check was for the same amount Discala had allegedly stolen.

In her memoir, the Broadway star called her marriage to Discala a “mistake.”

“I was only 20, trying to figure out who I was,” she notes. “He seemed to me then a lifeline, but I know now he was a big mistake. Untangling those contradictions has taken me years.”

Sigler also writes that Disacala “had an air of confidence about him,” but despite being “incredibly charismatic,” he would allegedly refer to her as his “bitch wife” when he was drunk.

Sigler muses in the book how her co-star James Gandolfini uncharacteristically skipped her July 2003 wedding to Discala.

“Part of me wonders if maybe he didn’t want it for me,” she writes.

At the time of the nuptials, Sigler was 22 and Discala was 32.

And while the actress “expected some smiles” and well wishes after returning to the “Sopranos” set post-wedding, she wrote that “instead, the room was completely silent.”

“It was clear: none of them were happy about this for me,” Sigler penned. “It would take me two long years to understand why.”

Discala is currently serving time in prison after being convicted on two counts of securities and wire fraud conspiracy in 2018. He was sentenced to 138 months following a multi-million dollar market manipulation scheme.

Sigler also addressed her year-long relationship with “Entourage” star Jerry Ferrara in her new memoir.

She writes that they “quickly fell into the rhythm of a serious relationship” after meeting on the set of the HBO series.

After getting serious, the “Big Sky” actress knew it was time to tell Ferrara she suffered from multiple sclerosis.

“He didn’t even flinch,” Sigler says about the actor’s reaction. “My diagnosis didn’t scare him off.”

However, Sigler — who was diagnosed in 2002, but didn’t publicly share her diagnosis until 2016 — recalled her symptoms getting worse.

“Bound by our roles— he as caretaker, me as patient. I knew he was overwhelmed,” she writes. “I was overwhelmed. I started to resent my situation.”

Sigler adds she started “picking fights” with Ferrara to push him away because she was about to enter “a deep depression spiral” and “didn’t want to take him with” her.

“He was too good for that. He deserved more,” she writes about the actor.

Sigler went on wed MLB infielder Cutter Dykstra in 2016. The couple are parents to sons Beau and Jack.

The family of four has since relocated from Los Angeles to Texas, with Sigler penning, that in Austin, she feels like she’s “just Beau and Jack’s mom at the baseball field.”
