… ‘Do Not Be Deceived’

Jaden Ivey‘s wife, Caitlyn, is breaking her silence after the former Bulls player claimed she cut off communication after Chicago released him following his anti-Pride comments … disputing what she calls a “lie” from her husband.
“We were communicating all morning of that day,” she wrote on Instagram. “People say things for attention, do not be deceived.”
The drama between the couple started the day after the Bulls cut Ivey loose, when he revealed, “my wife in here, and she not even texting me.”
The remark led to Caitlyn’s DMs being flooded by fans calling her out for seemingly abandoning her man, with whom she has three children, in a time of need.
“If you know me you know I have never once abandoned that man through all the trials, and I still haven’t now,” she wrote.
“There is obviously a lot more going on, so leave your conspiracies and guesses to yourselves.”
She did not dive into the specifics of what’s happening behind the scenes.
The 24-year-old found himself in hot water after he called out the NBA for celebrating the LGBTQ community with Pride Night.
“The world can proclaim LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA. They proclaim it. They show it to the world. They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.’ They proclaim it.” Ivey said.
“They proclaim it on the billboards. They proclaim it in the streets. Unrighteousness. So how is it that one can’t speak righteousness? How are they to say that … this man is crazy?”
His words have some fans worried about his mental health, especially after he addressed his past struggles on the “PinPoint Podcast.”
Jaden has not publicly responded to his wife.
