EXCLUSIVE: The nominations are out for the 2026 Golden Trailer Awards, and Disney nearly lapped the field among distributors with a staggering 144 noms, led by FX’s Alien: Earth with eight. But the company doesn’t boast the project with the single biggest haul — that would be IT: Welcome to Derry with nine nominations.
That creepshow hails from HBO Max, whose parent Warner Bros. Discovery is second with 79 Golden Trailer noms. Netflix finished third with 62, led by seven for Stranger Things. Wuthering Heights and Sinners are tops among films with seven noms apiece. See the list of nominees in all 116 categories below.
Now in its 26th year, the GTAs celebrate the marketing executives and companies that create movie trailers, commercials, posters and digital film campaigns worldwide. The hardware will be handed out during a May 28 ceremony hosted by stand-up comic Morgan Jay at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.
“The breadth and depth of this year’s nominations highlight the vibrancy and creativity of our industry, not just in the projects themselves but in the trailers, TV spots and key art that bring them to life,” Golden Trailer Awards executive director Evelyn Brady said. “It’s always a thrill to celebrate the teams behind the campaigns that fill theaters and keep audiences binge-watching. This year’s work has been exceptional, reflected both in the creativity honored at the GTAs and in renewed theater attendance and momentum for moviegoing overall.”

Two-time defending Agency of the Year champ AV Squad as again leads trailer companies with 52 Golden Trailer noms, follwed by Tiny Hero, Requiem and Zealot with 34 nominations each.
Added Monica Brady, executive producer of the GTA ceremony: “At the heart of every movie marketer is a movie fan who sees no shame in going to the theater just to watch the trailers. With such a diverse group of nominees, the true winners are the audiences, who now recognize a great trailer as a work of art in itself.”
