EXCLUSIVE: Actress Genneya Walton (Daredevil: Born Again) has inked with Strand Entertainment for management.
Currently, Walton can be seen playing BB Urich, the journalist niece of the New York Bulletin‘s Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall), in Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again, which secured a second-season renewal before its first had finished airing.
A series regular on Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones’ Netflix series #BlackAF and Project Mc², Walton has also starred in the Storm Reid-produced supernatural teen comedy Darby and the Dead for 20th/Hulu and been seen in Amazon’s holiday comedy Candy Cane Lane with Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. Additionally, she’s taken on major recurring roles in Never Have I Ever, Steven Spielberg’s Extant opposite Halle Berry, and 9-1-1 alongside Angela Bassett.
Walton’s journey in the arts began at six years old, starting with dance and quickly ascending to performing alongside Janet Jackson on her comeback tour, as well as at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, The X Factor, and the Radio Disney Music Awards. Trained in XMA and film stunts, she continues to be represented by Paradigm, align Public Relations, and attorney Sloane P. Whiteside-Munteanu of Del Shaw Moonves.
