Donald Trump has now been at the heart of several assassination attempts — one of which he was even injured in! Why, then, has he refused to protect himself more?!
In the wake of Saturday’s scary White House Correspondents’ Dinner, in which a gunman attempted to breach the ballroom where Trump and many other political figures were, POTUS invited a group of journalists to the Oval Office on Thursday for an event, which was filmed by the White House. It was there that he was asked if he’s considered adding additional security precautions to his everyday life as a result of the violence. His response?! He joked:
“I don’t know if I can handle looking 20 pounds heavier.”
LMFAO!!!
He quipped about this even while acknowledging that a bulletproof vest is exactly what kept the Secret Service agent who was shot in this weekend’s incident safe, adding:
“Frankly, the vest did an amazing job because it took a bullet close up. And he didn’t even want to go to the hospital. We sent him to the hospital.”
The Celebrity Apprentice alum noted that getting shot with a bulletproof vest on is like “getting hit by Mike Tyson.” Whatever it takes to stay alive, though!

You’d think Donny might be more interested in safety after all these scares. Even with the best security team in the country, danger have still slipped through the cracks… but we guess he’s not that worried!
