F1 star Charles Leclerc is stepping into the spirits arena with a new collaboration with luxury scotch whisky brand, Chivas Regal.
Dubbed the Chivas Regal 16, the limited-edition release is inspired by the Ferrari driver’s longtime car number and features a blend of 16 whiskies, each aged at least 16 years and selected by Leclerc himself. While Chivas Regal has a 12-year, 18-year, and even a 25-year whisky in its portfolio, the collaboration with Leclerc marks the first 16-year-old expression in the brand’s history.

Chivas Regal Charles Leclerc 16-Year Bespoke Blended Scotch Whisky
Available to order online now at ReserveBar.com, the finished product is a blend of Longmorn single malt from the Scottish Highlands, matured in first-fill sherry casks. Initial notes of mandarin, raisins, and Manuka honey on the nose give way to warm cinnamon and sticky toffee, along with notes of orange marmalade and apple cake, per a description. A standout sipper for trackside viewing and nights at home alike, Leclerc’s whisky finishes with a touch of oak and spice.
Leclerc was announced as a global brand ambassador for Chivas Regal last year, telling Rolling Stone, “The value of time, of paying attention to the small details, and the passion that is put into making the perfect blend” was what had drawn him to the partnership, adding that those principles aligned with his own pursuits as a driver who’s always seeking the perfect race.
Chivas Regal says Leclerc worked closely with master blender Sandy Hyslop to create the new expression, with the driver personally flying to Scotland to taste the whiskies and experience the blending process firsthand. The brand says the vision for creating a new 16-year expression was “built entirely” around Leclerc’s “vision.” And just as the F1 star pushes his rivals around the track each week, Chivas Regal says Leclerc and Hyslop had a “genuine creative exchange of two masters pushing each other, move by move, toward something neither could have made alone.”
The accompanying bottle features a new label created exclusively for the partnership, with black and red details and Leclerc’s name along the bottom. The limited-edition bottle is presented inside a custom box that bears the new crest, the driver’s name and two racing-inspired checkered flags. As for the number 16: aside from being his car number, the Monaco native was both on the 16th of October in 1997.
“Sixteen has always been more than a number to me — it’s something I’ve carried my whole career,” Leclerc said in a statement. “Going to Scotland, seeing the distilleries, understanding the obsession behind every cask, inspired me to create my own blend. Chivas Regal and I share the same belief that the standard you set today is just the starting point. I pushed Sandy to go further. He pushed me to think differently. Chivas Regal 16 felt like the natural next step in our partnership, creating something truly extraordinary together.”
“Charles didn’t just put his name to this,” added Hyslop. “He was in the room, making decisions, pushing back. He gravitated toward the character that defines Chivas Regal: rich, layered, built with real depth. What we’ve created together is a blend that’s unmistakably his and unmistakably ours.”
This is Leclerc’s debut signature blend and it is being released in extremely limited edition with a suggested retail price of $85. You can buy the Chivas Regal Charles Leclerc 16-Year online at ReserveBar.com. And you watch the F1 star’s campaign video for the new collaboration below.
