Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden’s third baby has arrived.
“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third child,” the Good Charlotte member wrote via Instagram on Monday.
After sharing the infant’s unique name, Nautas, the musician added, “Welcome to the world Son!! We love life with our family — our kids are healthy & happy, and we are grateful!!”
Madden, 47, concluded, “Having a blast, sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family.”
Diaz, 53, commented on her husband’s social media upload with red heart emojis.
The carousel included a playing card for a Nautas Madden character, explaining that the moniker means “sailor, navigator, voyager, one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.”
The subsequent slides featured artwork, from a cardinal to a plant — and concluded with another playing card.
This one read, “Every great legend begins with a single voyage. Chart your own course. Keep your compass true. The world is yours.”
Madden and Diaz, who wed in 2015, did not previously announce that they were expecting.
The duo are already the parents of daughter Raddix, 6, and son Cardinal, 2.
The couple started growing their family in 2020 and have kept their kids out of the public eye.
“While we are overjoyed … we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy,” the pair wrote while revealing Raddix’s birth. “We won’t be posting pictures or sharing more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would say RAD.”
They did the same when Cardinal was born four years later, promising their social media followers he was “really cute” as well.
Diaz has, however, gushed about motherhood in rare interviews over the years — and opened up to “Kelly Clarkson Show” viewers in 2022 about the “challenges” of raising a toddler.
“If you do blow up, just … say, ‘Oh, my God. Mommy lost her s–t, and I didn’t mean to say that to you if I hurt your feelings or if I upset you. I just want you to know Mommy’s human, too,’” she advised, pointing out that children are not “actively trying to be bad.”
She explained, “My job is to just help her find the words to her emotions, her experience, what she’s going through, be able to help her identify that and then move through it.”
