Bad Bunny is keeping up with ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner‘s family members.
The singer had an awkward run-in with Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian at the Met Gala 2026 red carpet Monday, captured in a now-viral video.
The Grammy winner, 32, was spotted holding out his arm for a hug as he approached the 70-year-old matriarch.
Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, spoke to Kris during the one-arm hug — as the momager repeatedly patted his arm.
He leaned over to chat with Kardashian, 45, as well before the reality stars turned away with seemingly uncomfortable expressions.
Reps for Kardashian, Kris and Bunny did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
One X user poked fun at how “tense” the interaction was, with another speculating it was a “bad sign” that Kris and Kardashian made “no eye contact.”
However, a fan claimed the back-and-forth only appeared awkward because Bad Bunny “hugged her weirdly.”
Another joked that Kris simply “want[ed] to know who that gentleman was who greeted her” due to his transformation into an elderly man — complete with gray hair, sunspots and a cane.
The songwriter joked to Vogue that he spent “53 years” getting ready to represent the fête’s “Costume Art” theme, which centered on “the inherent relationship between clothing and the body.”

Kris, for her part, stunned in a copper and white kimono-inspired ensemble.
Kardashian paid homage to the poster for the 1975 film “Maîtresse” about a dominatrix in a metallic orange bodysuit and open-front leather skirt designed by Allen Jones and Whitaker Malem.
As for Kendall, who dated Bad Bunny on and off between 2023 and 2024, the model wore a corset under a draped dress — and ditched the latter for a sultry afterparty look.
In February, the 30-year-old made headlines for swaying slightly and staring straight ahead as she watched her ex‘s Super Bowl LX halftime show from the stands.
The “Kardashians” star has moved on from their romance, most recently being linked to Jacob Elordi.
We hear the duo are “hesitant” and taking things slow because Kendall is “not the type to jump into something, especially with someone she’s been friends with.”
Bad Bunny has yet to publicly confirm a new relationship since his split from Kendall.
