Andy Cohen is hopeful that The Real Housewives of Miami will return after the reality series was put on pause.
On Thursday’s Watch What Happens Live, Southern Hospitality star Michols Peña asked Cohen where RHOM was.
“It’ll be back,” Cohen told Peña. “If it was my decision, it will be going all the time.”
Peña is a die-hard fan of the Miami-based show as it features Hispanic and Latin stars, which the Bravo personality connects to.
While discussing a trip the Southern Hospitality cast took to the Dominican Republic, where Peña’s family is from, he talked about the importance of sharing his story being Hispanic and why RHOM is so special to him.
“Just to be able to have a sense of community where being one of the few Hispanic people on Bravo, just to be able to share that side of my story — help others to connect,” he said. “For example, watching Miami because they have a lot of Hispanic cast members was something that I connected with a lot, too.”
In March, Bravo confirmed that RHOM would be on pause and would not move forward with Season 8 for the time being. Reports of sluggish ratings were a reason the network opted to halt filming of a new season while it assesses the situation. The last time the show aired a new episode was on October 16, 2025.
The most recent season of RHOM starred Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and Stephanie Shojaee. The cast also included friends Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth. Following the announcement of the show’s pause, most of the cast members took to social media to express their thoughts on the show’s importance for representation.
