The “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City,” picked cameras back up after Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s bombshell relationship announcement.
Bravo exec Frances Berwick confirmed to The Ankler on Wednesday that the upcoming series shot “a new scene” to cover the fallout of the shock romance.
“’In the City,’ which launches in a couple of weeks — you’ll see in the first episode we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members,” Berwick said.

“So, we did pick it up there, but we just didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do on ‘Summer House,’” she added.
Berwick also said the network wanted to prioritize “the emotional well-being” of the cast and “didn’t think it was right” to immediately pick cameras back up on “Summer House.”
Instead, they “did take a beat” before making the storyline part of “In the City,” Berwick noted.
