A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder presents a new mystery to Emma Myers’ Pip Fitz-Amobi, girl detective who solved the Andie Bell case in Season 1, in the newly released Season 2 trailer from Netflix.
The second season of the YA mystery series based on Holly Jacksons’ trilogy, specifically the second book — Good Girl, Bad Blood — will arrive on the streamer May 27. Season 2 will contain six 45 minute episodes.
Pip (Emma Myers) is determined to fix the fallout from solving the mystery of Andie Bell’s disappearance and Sal Singh’s murder – and stay away from any more investigations. But with Max Hastings’ (Henry Ashton) trial approaching and Connor’s (Jude Morgan-Collie) brother Jamie (Eden H Davies) suddenly disappearing, Pip finds herself in the middle of a new investigation, hoping to save Jamie. She wanted to move on along with her hometown, but not so fast.
“I’m ready for this to be over. No more murder,” Pip plays back from a podcast recording as Ravi Singh (Zain Iqbal) scares her from behind, greeting her with his signature nickname, “Sarge.”
Then Morgan-Collier’s Connor Reynolds shows up on Pip’s doorstep and informs her that his older brother, Davies’ Jaime, has gone missing.
“Welcome to Season Two of ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder: The Disappearance of Jamie Reynolds,” Pip records. “Jamie’s giving evidence in Max’s trial, and then he goes missing two days before the trial starts. Well, this has to be connected somehow.”

Henry Ashton’s Max Hastings, who is being tried for sexual assault of multiple girls as Pip dug up in Season 1, appears first in a bright pink hoodie with airpods and then in a formal suit with glasses and slicked back hair in court.
“What evidence do you have Pip?” he says to her one night. “It’s your word against mine.”
Asha Banks returns as Pip’s friend Cara. Yali Topol Margalith and Freddie England also star as Lauren and Robin Hastings.

“Someone knows what happened to Jamie, and they’re trying to warn me off,” Pip says, looking at a poster with bold Sharpie writing spelling out “Who will look for you when you disappear?” on it.
“Not everything is a conspiracy, Pip,” Lauren says to her friend.
“If the police don’t find someone after 72 hours, they stop looking for a body,” Pip bites out after Ravi assures her she’s not alone, and she heads up a search in a meadow.
The clip ends with a high-speed car chase and Pip, hands over ears, flashing between two versions of herself.
