Tommy Dorfman is calling out a fellow flight passenger for making transphobic comments right in front of her!
It turns out that during a recent flight, a man was sitting right next to the 13 Reasons Why alum on the plane and texting several people on his phone about how upset he was for being near a transgender woman! WTF! Little did he know that he was sitting next to a beloved actress, and she is not afraid to put people on blast for their hateful remarks! Tommy took to Instagram on Friday to say:
“Objectively, I know I’m not ‘passing’ and I’m ‘bricky’ and ‘clocky’ but passing hasn’t been the point for me nor should it be for any trans person. We are all allowed to evolve in any way that feels true and that evolution can expand and contract. It’s always been about alignment and autonomy for my own comfort, not the comfort of others or the expectations of society.”

And understandably, Tommy is offended by the man’s messages! She called out the “audacity” of the guy for “blatantly blasting off texts” not only transphobic comments about her but for also making “deeply misogynistic and revolting comments on our flight attendants in contrast to my freak.” Disgusting!!!
What happened, according to Tommy, reaffirms the choices she has made for herself “to feel safe and comfortable in my body and spirit.” She continued:
“This does come at the cost of safety and comfort in the world, especially in America, and that’s not without consequence internally and externally. I am lucky to have the life I have, the ability to fly freely (for now), and even post s**t like this. And why post, you may wonder? Because I can and this man is an alt right vampire AND because samantha deserves her flowers.”
And yes, Tommy has the receipts! She has a video and pictures to prove it all! It appears the man texted at one point:
“I am in the first aisle of First Class. Guess what is sitting next to me? A f**king transexual in the midst of going from a man to a woman. Just my Luck. I was hoping for a hot babe!!”
“2 and a half hours of sitting next to this freak!!”
Thankfully, a person identified as Samantha stepped up to defend Tommy in the chat! The reply said:
“Just remember many people you love are lgbtq+ and this country sucks for them right now. Be kind! And fly safe!”
We hope Samantha’s pillow stays cold on both sides! We love Samantha here! 
Unfortunately, the guy did NOT take the hint to “be kind.” He typed out the response:
“This guy is a freak”
Ugh!
And you know what? This man texted not only Samantha but SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE the same hateful messages! Obsessed much? And one pal even replied to him, “Safe travels and hold your nuts.” To which the man replied:
“The stewardess in the First Class cabin is hot as hell!!!! Offsets the freak!!”

We’re so sorry Tommy had to sit next to that guy for two and a half hours! No one should have to deal with that gross behavior!
