Ben Affleck has handed over his share of the mansion he bought with Jennifer Lopez!
According to TMZ, Ben is throwing in the towel and giving up his half of the infamous $60 million mansion to his ex wife. As we’ve been following, they’ve had the mansion up for sale for a while. In fact, it’s been a big burden because they’ve been able to fully cut ties post-divorce with this big house hanging over their heads!

They’ve been trying to get it off their hands since 2024 with NO bites. We mean, absolutely none! Not sure if homeowners don’t like the excessive 12 bathrooms they’d have to keep up with, or maybe they just don’t want that messy Bennifer 2.0 energy lingering in their space. Either way, the couple dropped their mansion’s price from their original asking of $68 million all the way down to $52 million just to try and get rid of it — and nada!
But it seems like Ben is done once and for all. He completely gave up his half of the mansion for FREE according to a source. The legal docs don’t explicitly state it was a gift, they say it was just a “transfer of property among spouses” — but insiders for the outlet suggest he just wanted it off his hands with no money to be made. Pretty easy way to do it, we guess. But what a loss!
Definitely not a loss he’s feeling, though. The actor just sold his AI company InterPositive to Netflix last month for $600 million. Giving up half of a $68 million dollar value is pennies to the guy right now! A huge gift for JLo, but based on their history, likely just a way for him to cut ties completely. Once and for all.
She’ll be taking home all the funds when she sells it, too, so that’s something she’s got to look forward to. Right now, she’s been renovating her NEW house and staying in the old Bennifer pad.
