‘The Voices Of Our Mother’ Horror Film From Mark O’Brien Acquired By Shudder

EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of its North American premiere at Panic Fest in Kansas City, The Voices of Our Mother, a new supernatural horror film helmed by Ready or Not actor Mark O’Brien, has been acquired by Shudder for release on streaming in the U.S., UK, Australia and New Zealand this summer.

Starring O’Brien, Sheila McCarthy (Women Talking) and Georgina Reilly (Quantum Leap), The Voices of Our Mother follows Harriet Scaflen (McCarthy) after the death of her mother at the age of 95. In the aftermath, Harriet has an unexplainable health scare, bringing her four estranged children to the family home to care for her. As their past animosities and secrets are revealed, they soon realize their mother’s health issues may be supernatural, and the awoken evil inside her is seeking revenge on her children for her own survival.

O’Brien directed from his own script, with Christopher Giroux and Justin Rebelo producing for Vortex Productions, and Jesse Ikeman, Nataline Rodrigues and Bill Marks exec producing.
