This guy better be thankful Olivia Munn didn’t name-drop him while telling this pathetic story!
On The Drew Barrymore Show Wednesday, the actress opened up about a super “obnoxious” former co-star of hers. She told Drew Barrymore that once, while working on filming something, a dude had a total MELTDOWN after finding out her character was supposed to save his in a scene:
“If you read the script, it was that he was guarding his side, I was guarding my side, then we switch sides and then there’s a guy that was coming for him [who] was gonna shoot him in the back, so I shoot him. And then we’re about to shoot and, somehow, I guess he didn’t read the script, and in that moment, he realized, ‘Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. She can’t save me. No, no. She can’t save me’.”
Um… Why not? Talk about some weird insecurity!

But this is where it gets really embarrassing. The unnamed actor apparently threw a whole fit and argued with the director for NEARLY AN HOUR. All because he felt too emasculated for his character to be saved by a strong female:
“He became combative with the director. [He had] no insecurity about being obnoxious and everyone hearing this and being like, ‘She can’t save me! We’re not doing this’.”
Olivia went on to say they ended up having to trick the guy into filming the scene:
“Finally, after like 45 minutes of just stopping down, I said, ‘Okay, how about instead of my character saving you, it’s just that we switch because it’s time for us to switch and so this is my guy to get. And he was like, ‘Okay’. Now here’s the interesting thing. Nothing changed. It’s just what he thought. I was doing the exact same thing.”
OMG! That’s seriously so immature. When women experience high emotions, they’re called divas. Here we see a man doing it and apparently nothing came of it.
Now, of course, she didn’t name the actor. But Olivia has done a lot of work on movies and shows that could fit this story! She’s been on X-Men: Apocalypse, The Predator, The News Room, some fans are even pointing out how Tales of the Walking Dead could fit the script.
