Prince Harry was caught sending some seriously flirty Facebook messages to a Daily Mail reporter, court documents show.
The Telegraph reported that the Duke of Sussex had discussed “movie snuggles” and sent virtual kisses to Mail on Sunday reporter Charlotte Griffiths.
Before you panic … no, Meghan Markle doesn’t need to be concerned. This reportedly went down long before they got together — between December 2011 and January 2012.
The newly-released alleged messages were presented to the High Court during the royal’s privacy lawsuit against Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers Limited.
The messages appear to show Harry had messaged Charlotte first, writing … “It’s H,incase u were confused by name and picture!!! X.”
In her alleged response, the reporter nicknamed him “Mr. Mischief” and asked him how his “weekend of naughtiness” ended.
Harry allegedly replied by saying it was “the best of those weekends I’ve been to” and acknowledged the new nickname, writing … “Mr mischief? How do I get that title … l was surely no worse than anyone else!!”
As the alleged exchange continued, he gave CG his number and signed several messages with virtual kisses like “Mwah” and “xxx.”
In messages reportedly dated January 22, 2012 … the journalist tells “H bomb” he was missed during a recent gathering.
That’s when Harry allegedly said “I WISH I was there sugar” and he was “Bummed beyond belief” to have skipped the party, before adding … “Hope you’re really well Griff … Miss our movie snuggles!!”
Harry, however, told the court he never used the name ‘Mr. Mischief,’ insisting he only met Charlotte once and “cut off contact” once he learned she was a journalist … according to the Telegraph.
But Charlotte says Harry is full of it … reportedly telling the court they were both at a house party in June of 2012.
The Telegraph reports that phone records appear to show a call between Harry and Charlotte at 2:50 AM on the night in question … as well as three texts in the morning.
The judge will reportedly be “toiling away on the judgment” in the privacy suit … but it’s unclear when a decision will be made.
Prince Harry is suing Associated Newspapers Limited alongside Elton John and several other high-profile people.
