Amber Heard’s ex-girlfriend believes the actress’ claims about being in a “violent” marriage with Johnny Depp.
In Kelly Loudenberg and Makiko Wholey’s new book, “Hollywood Vampires: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and the Celebrity Exploitation Machine,” the “Aquaman” star’s ex Bianca Butti explains why she publicly supported Heard and what it was like seeing her testify against the “Sleepy Hollow” actor.
“It almost sounded like someone else was talking. By the time you tell it a million times, you remove yourself from emotional content,” the cinematographer, 44, shares in the book, per People.
“I believe all of it. Especially as someone who was her intimate partner,” Butti, who dated Heard after her split from Depp, added.
“If I made a sudden move during an argument, she would recoil. It was clear to me that she was in a very violent relationship.”
The camera operator claimed the “Never Back Down” star and Depp had a “dynamic [that] didn’t allow them to express themselves in a proper way.”
“She was trying to stand her own ground and he just wasn’t having it. He was blacked out and drinking, a lot of drug doing, alcohol, and that is always a recipe for disaster,” Butti alleged in the book.
Page Six has reached out to Depp’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Butti and Heard, 39, were first romantically linked in 2020 — four years after she and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor settled their divorce.
The Mirror reported that they split in December 2021 after having spent “months apart.” At the time, Butti was working in Los Angeles while Heard was shooting “Aquaman 2” in the UK.
In June 2022, Heard lost her defamation trial against Depp after the actor, 62, sued her for $50 million in February 2019, alleging that she had defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about abuse.
The mom of three was ordered to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages.
Three months after losing the trial, Heard and her eldest daughter, Oonagh Paige, 4, moved to Spain.
Last month, the “Justice League” actress announced that she welcomed twins Agnes and Ocean after experiencing “fertility challenges.”
