Amanda Seyfried, like many moviegoers and industry peers, is a bit tired of the sequel-churning going on in Hollywood.

During a new Q&A between herself and Rachel Brosnahan for Interview magazine, the latter — who will portray Lois Lane to David Corenswet’s Superman in James Gunn’s forthcoming take on the alien superhero — theorized what the blockbuster crossover equivalent to “Barbenheimer” would be, as Summer 2025 will also feature Jurassic World Rebirth and Fantastic Four, both prominent IP.

“It’s Fantastic Super-park. It’s Four Superparks. Four Dinosaurs. Four Super Dinosaurs. I don’t know!” the Mean Girls star responded.

“I will say, there’s a little bit of fatigue with sequels,” she continued. “I want original content. I think it’s really scary and brave to do it. It’s not scary and not very brave to do sequels. It’s just for money and it’s frustrating.”

However, the Oscar nominee conceded, “Then again, I’d do Mamma Mia! 3 in a heartbeat.”

Much ado has been made about a threequel, which is hotly anticipated by fans and the cast alike. Most recently, Seyfried told ABC News, “Everybody says it’s gonna happen. But I mean, I haven’t seen a script.” At the same time, The Dropout star lent her support to those fan-casting Sabrina Carpenter as her onscreen daughter.

Based on the Tony-nominated ABBA jukebox musical, the 2008 comedy follows Sophie (Seyfried) as she prepares for her wedding at her mother Donna’s (Meryl Streep) hotel on the Greek island Kalokairi. What Donna doesn’t know is that Sophie has invited three of her exes (Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård) in hopes that one of them is the father she has never met and will walk her down the aisle.

The 2018 sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, followed flashbacks of a young Donna’s (Lily James) romance with the three men in 1979, when she first arrives on the island. In the present, Sophie prepares to reopen her recently deceased mother’s hotel, for which her grandmother Ruby (Cher) makes a surprise appearance.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it — which is why Mia Sara is reflecting on her favorite memory from filming Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

The actress, who starred as cool girl Sloane Peterson in the beloved 1986 teen-comedy classic, recently admitted that it’s been “a very long time” since she revisited the coming-of-age flick. Her reason? “It’s not really fun to watch yourself,” she told PEOPLE in a new interview.

Still, Sara, 57, has no difficulty recalling her favorite moment from her days on set: shooting the movie’s epic sequence in which Ferris (Matthew Broderick) commandeers a float at the Von Steuben Day parade, lip-syncing along to the songs “Danke Schoen” and “Twist and Shout” while Sloane and his pal Cameron (Alan Ruck) bust a move in the crowd.

“I had so much fun doing that parade scene,” Sara recalled.

She added that pulling it off was especially “crazy” because she and Ruck had to film the scene again and again.

“We would do the dance and then we’d get in a van and they’d drive us blocks away,” she explained. “And the camera would go, and then we’d do the dance again and wait for Matthew to pass.”

She continued, “It was just this crazy ‘let’s catch it as many times as we can.’ So that was a great moment.”

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off follows cocky high school senior Ferris, who skips a day of classroom drudgery by playing hooky. After he recruits his girlfriend and best friend to join him, the trio embark on an adventure to his favorite Chicago spots — all while trying to outwit his persistent principal, Mr. Rooney (Jeffrey Jones).

Though Sara hasn’t rewatched the film in years, she did confirm that her children have witnessed her and Ferris’ antics.

“My kids have absolutely seen it,” she said. “I think when they were younger, it was just embarrassing. My kids, because they grew up in Hollywood — they grew up in Los Angeles — they had a lot of friends whose parents were actors who were still really working all the time, and so they were kind of bummed that I stopped working.”

Earlier this month, Sara walked the red carpet for the first time in 15 years for the Los Angeles premiere of her new project, The Life of Chuck. The latest from The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass filmmaker Mike Flanagan marks Sara’s first film in more than a decade. She recently told PEOPLE that she only came out of retirement for a chance to work with Flanagan, a friend of hers.

“He just said, ‘Well, don’t you ever really want to work again?'” the actress recalled. “And I said, ‘Oh, I don’t know.’ He said, ‘Well, what if I offered you something?’ I said, ‘Well, okay, if you offer me something, I’ll do it.'”

While Sara isn’t sure of her future acting plans, she did commit to reuniting with Flanagan at his request. “Honestly, it really was all about Mike,” she said. “If Mike needs me, I’ll be there.”

The Life of Chuck is in theaters now.
