Mariska Hargitay’s Son August, 18, Stands Taller Than Mom as They Pose Together on Tribeca Festival Red Carpet

Mariska Hargitay is enjoying a night out with her son!

On Sunday, June 8, the Law & Order: SVU star, 61, was photographed attending the premiere of Re-Creation at the 2025 Tribeca Festival in New York City alongside her 18-year-old son August.

Hargitay wore a pair of navy pants and a black long-sleeve shirt, accessorizing with a white bag and silver shoes. The proud mom smiled as she placed an arm around her son, who wore striped white pants, leather sneakers and a black long-sleeve shirt.

Hargitay shares her three kids — August, daughter Amaya, 14, and son Andrew, 13 – with husband Peter Hermann.

This isn’t the first time Hargitay has been spotted out alongside her family in recent months. In May, the star enjoyed a family night out as she celebrated the premiere of her directorial debut. Hargitay was joined by Hermann and their three kids on the red carpet for her directorial debut, My Mom Jayne. She premiered the documentary, which details her mother’s legacy, at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

The actress posed alongside her husband and kids wearing a black and bright pink sequined gown. The dress was a sweet, subtle nod to her mother, whose favorite color was hot pink. Her husband and sons matched in black suits and a black bowtie, while her daughter wore a black dress.

Last summer, Hargitay shared an exciting family photo from the Olympic Games on Instagram featuring her husband and all three of their kids.

The family gathering in Paris was made extra special with the addition of the Olympic gold medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky’s family. Her parents Mary and David, as well as her older brother Michael, could be seen smiling proudly with their arms around the Hargitay-Hermann crew as they all cheer on the star athlete.
