Lisa Kudrow is ready to check into the next White Lotus.

The Friends star was asked point blank if she’d be down to appear in season 4 of the hit HBO show during the latest in Variety‘s Actors on Actors series alongside season 3 star Parker Posey, and she didn’t skip a beat. “Work with Mike White? Yes. I love Mike White. I’ve hung out with him at a party,” she said, referring to the series’ creator.

Posey pointed out that “he gets around,” to which Kudrow added, “He’s social. And Brad’s Status was my favorite movie that year. I emailed him to let him know, because I had to — it was so good, I had to. I don’t do that a lot.”

At this point, truly doing the Lord’s work, Posey encouraged Kudrow, “Oh, Lisa, you should be in season 4. If there’s a big enough TikTok campaign, then it’ll happen.”

After joking that that’s definitely how White Lotus casting happens (it’s not), Kudrow more seriously said, “And I might not be [White’s] cup of tea, which is allowed to happen too. But I do get nervous about inhabiting things that are too dark; I try to avoid that.”

To Posey, she added, “But you didn’t really have to, except for the scenes where your head’s blown off. But it’s pretend.”

Posey played the entitled, Lorazepam-loving Ratliff family matriarch in season 3 of the show, which was set in Thailand. Indeed, there were some scenes in which her onscreen husband Jason Isaacs imagined killing her (and their children) instead of admitting to his family that they lost all their wealth. But unlike some other characters, all members of the Ratliff family left Thailand unscathed. The season also starred Michelle Monaghan, Natasha Rothwell, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, Leslie Bibb, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Lisa, Jon Gries, and Lek Patravad.

The series was renewed for a fourth season in January, ahead of the release of the most recent season. Though the network has yet to reveal casting news or a location for the vacation drama (Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand have been ticked off the bucket list so far), White hinted at changing things up a little in the HBO finale debrief, teasing, “For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the ‘crashing waves against rocks’ vernacular. But there’s always room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels.”
