Discovery+ Latest To Spotlight Kim Kardashian Heist

Discovery+ UK has become the latest player to turn its attention to the Kim Kardashian diamond heist. Fresh off the back of a BBC series, which has already been bought by WBD outside the UK, Discovery+ is making The Kim Kardashian Heist. The show will delve into the chain of events surrounding the robbery of Kardashian’s diamonds, which saw $6M worth of jewellery stolen during her stay at the exclusive ‘No Address Hotel’ for Paris Fashion Week. With access to the accused, their defence, the police investigators and exclusive access to the concierge, Mr Ouatiki, who was held at gunpoint with Kim Kardashian that night, the show follows the French trial and unravels the complex layers of the crime. Wall to Wall Media will produce. The show features on a WBD UK slate featuring Guz Khan’s Custom Cars, Zero Stars and Rav Gill’s Chophouse. “With all eyes on one of the most intriguing true crime stories in recent years, we’re pleased to work with Wall to Wall on The Kim Kardashian Heist,” said Graham Lafferty, SVP Content Strategy and Networks, WBD UK & Ireland. “With first-hand and exclusive testimony from those closest to the heist, including concierge Abderrahmane Ouatiki, this documentary dives deep into new aspects of the case.”

‘White Lotus’ Star Leading Sky-ZDF’s ‘Bust Up’ Procedural

The White Lotus star Morgana O’Reilly is leading Sky New Zealand and ZDF’s procedural crime Bust Up with Roimata Fox. Unexpectedly thrown together after a decade apart, the show follows former romantic partners Deb Brighton (O’Reilly) and Mihi Renata (Fox), who are forced to partner up again as cops on the beat in the fictional town of Waitote, in the north of New Zealand. Each episode of Bust Up will centre on a stand-alone crime with the duo’s slow-burning relationship story unfolding across the series. The series will be directed by International Emmy Award winner Max Currie (Rūrangi) and Awanui Simich-Pene (First Horse, The Brokenwood Mysteries), with screenplays written by Donna Malane, Paula Boock, Holly Hudson and Annette Tahitahi Fifield. It will air on Aotearoa’s Sky Open, Neon and Sky Go in 2026. Sky New Zealand Originals Head of Commissioning, Thomas Robins said: “Sky New Zealand Originals is thrilled to be working with fabulous local creatives Lippy Pictures and their German partners MadeFor Film on this wonderful series. Co-producing with the excellent team at ZDF to take this truly New Zealand show to the world is an exciting prospect.”
