As viewers tune into season 7 of Love Island USA, Huda has been a massive topic of conversation among fans. Noah Sheline, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her 4-year-old daughter Arleigh, took to social media on Monday, June 16, to address the outrage and ask for people to be kind.
“At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” he wrote in a lengthy message on his TikTok Story. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”

“She’s maybe not doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative s— on my page or even clips of it about her,” he added, calling the hate “unhealthy.”
Sheline emphasized the importance of protecting the wellbeing of his and Huda’s daughter.
“It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter’s maybe in the future. So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter,” he said.
He went on to explain that he is “worried” for how Huda, 24, will react to the online chatter and noted that he still cares for her “as the mother of my child” despite them no longer being together. He also shared the hashtag, #doitforarleigh.
“It’s crazy I have to involve myself in this but I don’t want my daughter’s mom to get out and see this and her mental health goes down a hill,” the post continued. “For people who have been respectful and nice and defending her as a mother, thank you! She tries just as much as any other young parent in this world.”
“Not sure what else to say or if I’m talking to a wall of social media,” Sheline concluded. “I just ask people be nice. It’s a tv show. Y’all are watching people date I don’t think it’s that serious to put someone down a hole of bullying. Regardless of how ridiculous she might be or seem.”
At the bottom of the post, Sheline clarified, “I don’t want to get back with her,” and revealed that he would not go on Love Island if he was asked.

Sheline also shared another creator’s plea for people to stop sending hate toward Huda and her family.
After the Story expired, Sheline, who said he didn’t care if other accounts “spread” the message, reposted a screenshot of it, along with a TikTok of a fan slamming the online attacks.
“Huda gets hate on the show because she’s weird,” the user, named Nadia, began. “Point, blank, period. A lot of her actions so far have been unsavory to say the least. But here’s where you guys got the game f—— up. It’s one thing to talk about someone’s actions on the show, especially when they’re acting weird, they’re acting mean, when they’re doing the most.”
“I mean, it’s reality TV, it’s what she signed up for,” she pointed out. “Welcome to the world of national television. You will be scrutinized by the masses. But that does not mean that you as the masses do not take responsibility for your own actions. You f—— freaks are cyberstalking her family, her daughter, her baby father. Going on her socials leaving hate comments. What is wrong with y’all?”
“You guys are sick,” Nadia said later in the video. “What some of you guys are doing is basically some weird branch off of some parasocial relationship where you think you have the right to drag someone because they did something you didn’t like on TV.”
Huda has faced criticism revolving around her relationship with contestant Jeremiah Brown after they coupled up on day one in the villa and appeared closed off to pursuing other connections. In the June 15 episode of the popular Peacock dating show, which is filmed in real time, America voted to recouple Jeremiah with bombshell Iris Kendall, leaving Huda confused about how the viewers felt about her.
