A beloved flavor is returning to Starbucks!
Raspberry syrup — formerly a staple of several fan-favorite and secret menu items — is returning to the coffee chain for a limited time this summer, according to a June 10 news release on the Starbucks website.
“Starbucks will also be bringing back raspberry syrup for a very limited time this July to delight fans, and the company plans to bring more flavor drops in the future,” per the release, which announced some of the “top moments” from the Starbucks Leadership Experience 2025 earlier this month.
The brand has yet to reveal exactly how long raspberry syrup will be available and has not widely advertised the highly anticipated return, which comes about two years after the flavoring was quietly taken off Starbucks shelves, according to Men’s Journal.

The return of the chain’s raspberry syrup will coincide with the summer drinks also slated to hit the menu in July, though the company has not confirmed whether there will be any overlap.
A spokesperson for Starbucks did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
In July, Starbucks is rolling out four new Frappuccino flavors, the coffee chain revealed in May.
The four new summery blended beverages include the Salted Caramel Mocha, Strawberry Matcha, Brown Sugar and the Firework Frappuccino, all of which are layered with cold foam.
The release of the latter, Fourth of July-themed Frappuccino will be timed to the holiday, and offer a “festive twist” on the Summer-Berry Refresher, per Starbucks.

Starbucks launched the first items of its summer menu back in May. The seasonal items include the Summer-Berry Refresher, Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher and Summer Skies Drink, all of which were previously introduced in May 2024.
The fruity drinks all feature raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors with boba and pearls. The second beverage, meanwhile, is mixed with lemonade, and the third is blended with coconut milk.
